Wes Cecil, PhD.

When I was first old enough to ride my bike around freely, I would ride to the library in my home town. I thought then there was nothing better in the world and I pretty much feel the same way today. I received my BA from Fresno State University in English after taking classes in a wide variety of disciplines. I then studied literature and critical theory at Indiana University where I earned my MA and PhD. My dissertation adviser was the brilliant Professor Dianne Elam. For the last twenty years I have lived and worked in Port Townsend, Washington. Besides gardening and generally wandering about in the woods, I have written a few books, plays, and delivered a series of well received public lectures under the auspices of Peninsula College.
