Pheadrus: A Love Story

This play is a dramatization of Plato's dialog The Phaedrus in which Socrates tries to explain the nature of Love to a young man named Phaedrus. The story is complicated by the sexual attraction between Phaedrus and Socrates. The play highlights the emotional, sexual and social aspects of love within the context of Socrates mystical conception of human love.
